Anyways I wonder if all the people who derail conversations about the specific healthcare and rights of marginalized groups to go “all medical care should be free and accessible for everyone” realize how much they sound like the “all lives matter” folks.
Like, I thought this was already covered when people were constantly talking over Black Lives Matter, but I guess there's always people coming in fresh to these conversations who don't yet know how to examine context, or how to listen to a conversation instead of saying their piece.
So, as a reminder, if you have something you want to say about the broader scale of human rights, you can make your own posts. You shouldn't piggyback off of marginalized people talking about their specific issues and concerns just to zoom out the scope of the conversation. When you do that, you're obscuring the specific problems being raised. We're trying to narrow down the focus to highlight specific problems, not make blanket statements that can't discuss anything concrete
